Responsibilities:
Provides supportive services to patients, families, staff and the community at large to decrease the social, emotional and financial impact of HIV disease through education, outreach, advocacy, supportive counseling and referrals. All activities will be conducted within the framework of strict confidentiality and empowerment of the patient. The Senior Case Manager also provides assistance to the Director of Case Management & Community Services in the development, implementation, management, and evaluation of community services programs as needed.
Education & Experience:
Masters Degree in social work and NYS Licensure (LMSW) required. Fluency in Spanish is strongly preferred. At least 3 years experience working in a clinical or medical setting. Must be certified by the NYSDOH in HIV counseling and testing within six months of hire. Previous administrative and supervisory experience needed. Must be accustomed to diversity.

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director of Practice Management, the Front Office Assistant is responsible for performing all the necessary duties and activities associated with the coordination of a patient visit.
Education & Experience:
This is a bilingual position. Fluency in English and Spanish is required. High school degree required. Associates Degree strongly preferred. 1–3 years experience working in a medical office or clinic is required. Excellent computer, organization and interpersonal skills necessary. Ability to speak, read or write a foreign language a plus. Ability to maintain confidentiality both inside and outside of the facility is essential.
Open Position: Outreach Coordinator-Men’s Prevention Program - Full Time Date of Posting: 04/04/2008 Date of Closing: 05/01/2008
Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Associate Director of Outreach, coordinates, prepares, and presents multi-media educational programs focused on HIV prevention and risk reduction for patients, staff, community groups, and agencies in the ACHC primary service areas, and leads the work of assigned Outreach Workers. Provides, HIV counseling and testing in accordance with the NYS HIV Confidentiality Law and in compliance with NYSDOH Counseling and Testing regulations.
Education & Experience:
Associates Degree required and Bachelor’s Degree in human services, social work, or related field strongly perferred. At least 2 years of experience in the Human Services or Health Care field. Previous HIV experience in education and prevention intiatives is required. Must be accustomed to diversity. Fluency in Spanish preferred.Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential.

Responsibilities:
The Development Manager will be responsible for coordinating
and growing the annual giving program. As a major component
of annual giving, the Development Manager will also coordinate, plan, and execute all agency special events. In
addition, responsibilities include the recruitment, training, and utilization of volunteers to achieve event and annual giving
goals.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, or related field is preferred. At least (3) years experience working in development is highly preferred. Experience managing special events and fundraising for health and human services organizations is preferred. Excellent written/oral communication and computer skills are required.

Volunteer Opportunities
Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer! AIDS Community Health Center relies heavily on our dedicated volunteers to help us with administrative support, program support and fund raising events. We hope that one of these options interests you:
1. Administrative Support
Volunteers support AIDS Community Heath Center by donating their daytime, weekday hours performing clerical duties such as data entry, filing and copying. Our office is open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 9 AM - 5 PM and Tuesday 9 AM - 7 PM. If you are interested in volunteering in our office, please contact Adrienne Jophlin at ajophlin@achcRochester.org or at 585-244-9000.
2. Program Support
Program volunteers assist Community Services with outreach, which could consist of representing AIDS Community Health Center at a Health Fair or outreach event, or assisting the outreach team during street outreach. If you are interested in helping with our outreach effort, please contact Lucia Colindres at lcolindres@achcRochester.org or by phone at 585-244-9000.
3. Fund-Raising Events
AIDS Community Health Center conducts several fund-raising events every year. Many volunteers are needed to help work on planning the event and to help on the day of the event with such tasks as registration, checkout, set-up, teardown, etc. If you are interested in helping with one of our events, please contact Mary Beth Lowery at 585-530-6172 or at mlowery@achcRochester.org.
