Individual Giving
Gifts from individuals are crucial to our viability. We welcome gifts of any size to our annual fund, which supports the general operations of the organization.
You can support AIDS Community Health Center with a gift of cash or by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover) and can donate online by selecting one of the giving options below.

Annual Gift
If you would like to help AIDS Community Health Center continue its life-saving work, and make sure that everyone one who needs care is able to receive it, please consider making an annual gift. Your contribution is a way to help maintain, nourish and expand the intensely needed services at AIDS Community Health Center.

Honorary Gift
Why not honor a loved one with a gift to AIDS Community Health Center? Make a donation in honor of a loved one or special friend for any occasion - such as a birthday, promotion, holiday, etc. - while helping us continue our important work. The honoree will be notified of your gift and your gift will be published in one of our newsletters, and our annual report.

Bequests

Building Fund
After 13 years in its original location, AIDS Community Health Center outgrew its space. Recently, we moved into the historic Michaels-Stern building in downtown Rochester so that we could continue to serve our existing patients and reach out to the increasing number of newly infected individuals who need treatment for HIV and AIDS.
The move allows us to continue to build hope for the future by:
- Expanding our clinical capacity
- Accommodating new programs and services
- Enhancing the patient experience
- Improving our operational efficiency
- Improving quality while controlling costs
- Increasing accessibility - particularly to underserved communities.
The move was planned in phases:
- Phase I - initial build-out, the move, furniture and equipment
- Phase II - Expansion of Pharmacy and Dental Suite
Phase I of the relocation plan occurred, consisting of the initial construction and move, and the purchase of some of the needed equipment and furniture. While we have received funding from many generous donors, we still have a long way to go to achieve our Building Fund goal for Phase I. Phase II is underway, and the pharmacy opened in March 2005.
None of our revenue sources that support AIDS Community Health Center allocate funds for expansion. We continue to seek funds to help pay for our relocation expenses. Major donors have naming opportunities on areas throughout the facility.

Donate your Vehicle
Donating your car, boat, or trailer to AIDS Community Health Center can be a great way to support our important work, and receive a tax benefit for yourself.
Although AIDS Community Health Center does not operate a vehicle donation program, you may arrange this type of donation through Insurance Auto Auction, Inc., (formerly Charity Fundings.) They are located at 522 Trolley Street, Rochester, NY 14606, and they can be reached at 426-1030.
When the vehicle sells at auction, IAAI will deduct an auction fee and a handling fee. The balance will be sent to AIDS Community Health Center in the name of the donor. In order to receive your tax benefit, IAAI will send you a vehicle appraisal form with their portion of the IRS Form 8283 (Donated Property form) completed. When you file your tax return, complete the remainder of Form 8283 indicating your cost to purchase the vehicle and its fair market value.
In-Kind Donations
Often a gift of a product or service is the best alternative for both the donor and for us. For example, we actively solicit auction items for our annual wine tasting event. And, for all of our events we look for donations for printing, flower arrangements, food and beverages, etc. And, we are often in need of office supplies and equipment.
